Isolation Fault Location System
Isolation fault locators are used in combination with permanent isolation controllers to locate isolation faults in ungrounded power supplies (IT networks). They detect and evaluate the localization currents generated by the permanent isolation controller using measuring current transformers.
Isolation fault locators are used to quickly locate the source of the fault during operation.
